Life before Huckleberry?

During my time at university, and while travelling after, I primarily worked in bars and restaurants which was a lot of fun. When I settled down in the UK, I found a trainee recruitment role in the Broadcast & Media Industry, and it was so interesting to learn about the behind-the-scenes jobs that go into our favourite shows, streaming sites, sports coverage, etc. I have always been a massive sports fan (admittedly mostly American sports having grown up there), so when I found my current role at Huckleberry, focused on Sports, I was thrilled!

 

Get to know me?

I have done a lot of moving around in my life. I was born in Denmark and lived in various places around Europe before moving to the USA at age 5. I spent most of my life in Chicago, until I went to University in Colorado where I studied Child & Social Psychology. After finishing my studies, I wasn’t quite ready to settle down and get a job, so I moved to Australia for a year, living and working up and down the Queensland coast. In February 2015 I decided to settle permanently in Bournemouth. I love travelling, snorkelling/diving, going to see live music, and just being lazy and watching my favourite tv shows/movies on repeat…
