Life before Huckleberry?

After graduating at university in Film, Radio and Television I worked as a journalist and in TV production for several years before the recession hit and less television was being made in the UK.

I then worked as a personal trainer in the city for four years and it was training various ‘city workers’ that led to me becoming one myself and working as a recruitment consultant in the Public Sector. Although I loved recruitment itself, four years later I wasn’t interested in the type of recruitment I was doing. I applied for two jobs one in house at a fashion brand and one with Huckleberry Recruitment, four years later and the rest is history! Huckleberry lets me combine my passions and interests with my work and it feels like everything has come full circle.

 

Get to know me?

I’m constantly busy either going to the theatre, gigs, festivals, shows and events and trying to look my best for these by working out (including marathons and sporting challenges) and clothes shopping – it’s a vicious cycle. 

I can also be found regularly hanging out with Dominic and Janine in swanky London clubs (perk of the job!).

 

Here are a few of my favourite things:

Film genre: Jurassic Park & Steel Magnolias are my favourite films which makes my genre “Dino-Drama-Com”

Sport: Rugby and running 

My feel-good song that makes me sing out loud: Spice Up Your Life! 

Ice Cream flavour: Coconut – not always easy to find but worth it when you do, just like a good candidate!!
